Back in March 2024, I was impacted by the greed of corporate America. The company I worked for during the prior 15 years was acquired for over $14B USD a year earlier and they were desperately trimming costs.
In corporate, we are mostly a number. We make friendships that sometimes last a lifetime, but for the most part, corporations just care about the bottom line. They couldn’t send me out soon enough, but it took them over a year to even get to a point where they didn’t need me any longer.
The lack of expertise in my area within the company was such, that they just couldn’t afford being without my services. Until they could.
By the end of March 2024, I was gone. Same month I picked up my Foundation Series Cybertruck, and ai was both excited and concerned. By the time I was gone, I had already fantasized about leaving corporate America. But I never did it. I was forced to it.
Boy am I glad… the past 28 months have been the best of my life (mostly). Since then, I have explored North America from coast to coast.
I am not exaggerating. From camping in a tent for months at a time, to adding an overlanding setup to the truck and driving all the way to basically the North Pole through the Yukon and the Northwest Territories in Canada all the way to The Arctic Ocean. We have seen most or the beautiful landscape that Canada and USA have to offer.
I am grateful for all the friendships made along the way, the experiences we’ve had and the uncertainty of not knowing what comes next.
I am still organizing my thoughts around what ai want to say next, so I will try to bring new content here more frequently.
But please know this… I am overwhelmed with joy, just knowing that someone like you, took the time to visit this page and read this post. Although I have been trying to sustain our adventures with the content we share, we are not there yet, but I am not giving up yet. At least not today.

We just need to grow the channels and hopefully one day, all our basic needs are met without having to seek side entrepreneurial gigs for covering our expenses.
